31 Jan Water Sustainability Plans: Potential, Options, and Essential Content
On October 22, 2019 University of Victoria’s POLIS Water Sustainability Project and Environmental Law Centre released an Innovation Brief, based on their investigations into Water Sustainability Plans under British Columbia’s Water Sustainability Act.
In the summary they state that these plans “ can assist watershed communities to begin addressing many of the challenges of the land and water governance regime in B.C., to improve watershed health, and to support collaborative governance between Indigenous communities, the provincial government, and other local actors.”
