FOKLSS is teaming up with Kootenay Co-Op Radio again this year to host the 2020 New Year’s Day Polar Bear Swim at Lakeside Park in Nelson from 11am – 1 pm!
Participating is easy:
- Pick up a pledge form from the KCR office at 308A Hall Street or contact fundraising@friendsofkootenaylake.ca to request a form via email.
- Collect pledges in support of KCR and FOKLSS from your friends, family and co-workers. Supporters can make a pledge in your name on the KCR website:
- Brave the icy waters of Kootenay Lake on New Year’s Day
- Revel in the respect and admiration that you have earned, and enjoy delicious chili and hot chocolate
There will be chili, hot chocolate and live music at the event. Prizes will be available for best costumes and the participant who raises the most pledges.
We hope to see you all at Lakeside Park on New Year’s Day 2020!
