Here is your opportunity to see and identify the birds of the Creston Valley via kayak, bicycle, bus, or on foot. Bird Fest central is at Casey’s Community House this year.
On Friday night, Gary Davidson will be presenting his photographs and talking about birds around the world. Bus tours to Duck Lake to see resident Forster’s terns and other avian species will follow.
Dr. David Bird, recently awarded for his contributions to ornithology in Canada, will be speaking Sat. night. 16 Guided birding tours, a historical town tour, a mushroom foray, kids events, farm tours, and a Mother’s Day Paint and Pour at Baillie Grohman Estate winery fill up the weekend.
