Celebrate the annual return of the Kokanee salmon at Kokanee Creek Nature Centre on Sunday, August 26, 2018.
Get ready for the seventh annual RedFish Festival – rain or shine, free by donation to the festival!
It wouldn’t be a festival without music, dance, bubbles, kids activities and good food. Local food vendors will be on hand all day for a meal or a treat.

We will have guided channel tours run hourly throughout the day so that campers and residents can learn more about the Kokanee Salmon:  the keystone species.  They return year after year to lay eggs and then die.  Their bodies fuel the lake and the surrounding ecosystems for the next year.
