The ‘gravel pit’ at 2km up the Six Mile Lakes Road, is a short 100 yards from the creek and a main tributary nestled
next to a lovely patch of old growth forest. This should be a bright welcoming spot but instead is attracting people to
use it as a refuge dump with unauthorized campers and late night party goers, leaving behind garbage, sewage a
general big mess. If it looks like a dump it will be treated like a dump!
