The primary purpose of the event is to increase awareness to Creston residents and visitors on the following:
- The negative environmental impacts that an American bullfrog infestation would have on Creston’s native species (especially the endangered Northern leopard frog).
- How to ID bullfrogs
- How to report bullfrog sightings
- CKISS surveillance (song meters) and eDNA programs.
