Join the team at Friends of Kootenay Lake and Wildlife Technician Kat McGlynn for a crash course on how to identify amphibian calls.
This 1-hour virtual workshop will cover all the basics on how and when to monitor for amphibian calls around Kootenay Lake. If you have an interest in knowing which species you are hearing on your late night walks or when camping out on the lake, this workshop is for you!
Originally this workshop was created for our volunteer amphibian monitors that record findings in the Harrop Wetland for us, but being such an interesting topic, we wanted to open this workshop up to the public.
