We are excited to see the osprey returning home this month, and are even more excited to help train and inspire locals to get involved in the protection and monitoring of this sentinel species on Kootenay Lake. Wildlife Biologist Joanne Siderius will be joining us again this year as our trainer and co-host.
This workshop will train you to collect and submit data on osprey breeding activity for the long-term monitoring of osprey survival on Kootenay Lake. The workshop is free and open to anyone to join, so pass the message along and we hope to see you there!
