Ben has moved from a decade-long career as an outdoor leadership instructor to working with Youth Climate Corps. He went through this transition while taking an MA in Environment and Management at Royal Roads University. His time as an instructor gave him a deep appreciation for the resiliency and adaptability of leadership in young people, while also seeing the human and natural consequences of the climate crisis. He loves spending time outside, paddling, climbing, skiing and playing with friends. He has served on the FoKLSS Board since 2021.
